It’s almost the end of the year! Feels like it took 2000 years to get here, but we’ve made it.
If there was one benefit to quarantine it’s that both of us got to read wayyyyyy more books than we would have otherwise. Books were a form of escapism before 2020 and they definitely were this year.
Since it’s the end of the year we thought we’d do some End of Year Book awards, à la high school yearbook superlatives.
So, here’s a look back at some the most popular, funniest, and most likely to succeed books we read in 2020!
(Amber’s answers are on the left and Samantha’s are on the right.)
Best All-Around (Best Book of 2020)

Class Clown (Funniest Book)

Cutest Couple (Best Book Series)

Biggest Life of the Party (Most Entertaining Book)

Most Likely to Talk Your Ear Off (Book You Can’t Stop Talking About)

Class Heartbreakers (Book That Broke Your Heart)

Most Likely to Cut Class (Book You DNFed/Should Have DNFed)

Best Dressed (Best Cover)

Most Likely to Win an Oscar/ Emmy (Book to Be Turned Into a Movie/TV Show)

If you liked these awards, feel free to join and and hand them out to your own 2020 reading list. Feel free to link your post in the comments so we can read it! We’d love to see what everyone was reading this year!

I’ve only read House of Earth and Blood but I love this post!

Thank you! And honestly, Addie LaRue is just so beautiful! I hadn’t expected to like it and it just blew me away. I think I’m still hurting from reading The Nightingale. I’m really looking forward to how they adapt it into a movie. – Amber
