In the spirit of February and Valentine’s day, we thought we’d honour the month of all kinds of love with some of our favourite romance books. We love reading romance, from historical to contemporary and paranormal and really can’t get enough of it. We might have an addiction, but that’s okay!
It was hard to dwindle this list down to 14 – really we could make this a list of 100 romance books you need to read, but that’s just a lot. Or is it? We’ve also included the tropes in each book and the different romantic elements to help you find the one that fits your reading mood. And each one has a spicy rating, in case you’re curious.
So, fill the bath, pour yourself a glass of wine (or beverage of choice), dim the lights, and put on some romantic music, cause you’ve got a date with a book.
*Please note that some of these books do come in series. We’ve recommended the first book, and if you like the first one we do recommend the rest of the series.
